Promotional scholarships for doctoral candidates
The aim of the promotional scholarships is to foster scientific and artistic initiatives of doctoral candidates supporting their scientific and creative ideas and research and development activities. There are two types of funding – doctoral scholarship and grants for (doctoral) academic visits.
The amount of funding for both types of support is determined annually depending on the number and scientific (or artistic) level of submitted proposals as well as the budget limits for the present year.
There are two types of candidates eligible for the funding:
- PhD students in science, actively conducting scientific research – authors of published (or accepted for publishing) scientific papers;
- PhD students in arts actively conducting research and (or) creating and publicly presenting their works of art – authors of published (or accepted for publishing) or created and publicly presented works of art.
Calls for doctoral scholarship proposals are announced annually, while calls for grants for (doctoral) academic visits proposals take place twice a year.
